About the Project

Healthier is a desktop web application tailored for medical specialists who seek to collaborate with peers, manage patient interactions, and stay updated on the latest medical developments. The platform features multiple interactive screens, including a customizable profile, a patient and connections management page, and a detailed dashboard for tracking statistics. With a formal yet modern design, Healthier blends a clean white background with blue elements and bright highlights to enhance user experience. The goal was to create a visually appealing and highly functional design that facilitates professional connections and efficient patient management.

To tackle these challenges, our scope of work included:

Conceptualization & Research

  • Developed the initial idea and conducted in-depth research to understand the needs of medical professionals.

Wireframing

  • Created detailed wireframes for multiple application screens to ensure a user-friendly interface.

UI/UX Design

  • Designed the application using best practices, focusing on intuitive navigation, attractive visuals, and a formal yet modern aesthetic.

Solution

To address the design challenges, we focused on creating a responsive, user-centric interface that performs flawlessly across devices and browsers. Our team meticulously ensured that all graphical elements, from buttons to interactive features, were perfectly displayed regardless of screen size or browser type. To enhance user engagement from the very beginning, we developed an onboarding process that is not only intuitive and informative but also helps build trust with users. This process includes a clear, step-by-step guide that minimizes friction and encourages users to explore the application’s features confidently. Furthermore, we designed the dashboard to be highly customizable, allowing users to filter and display data effortlessly. The dashboard configuration was refined to ensure that users can access the information they need in real time, making it easier for them to manage their professional connections and patient data.

Styleguide

The color solution corresponds to the medicine theme, in particular, white background and blue elements. Meanwhile, there are some bright and warm tones for highlighting and giving vividness to the whole application.

The font is Montserrat which is formal enough yet modern and eye-friendly.

The home page is the main page that shows the feed, all the necessary updates, and has quick access to the dashboard.

Profile Page

The profile page is a page where the user’s information is. Besides, users can customize and make it more appealing as in any social media. It also has quick access to the dashboard.

My Patients and Connections Page

These two pages show the highlights of the current connections and patients, yet there is an ability to expand more detailed information about each of them.

Dashboard

The Dashboard is an information board that shows all the statistics of your account. In particular, there is the schedule, the current number of patients, the average number of appointments (weekly, monthly), conversion and cancellation rates, etc.
